U.S. Mobile Market Share

comScore a leader in measuring the digital world has data out on the US phone market. They surveyed more than 30,000 mobile subscribers and found Samsung to be the top phone manufacturer overall with 25.3% market share, followed by LG with 21.3% and Motorola with 14.5%.

One of the important things to notice is how fast Android phones are growing. By September 2011 they have 44.8% market share while Apple keeps it 27.4% share. Well below are Microsoft with 5.6% and Symbian with 1.8%.

Apple keeps and steady percentage of the market. 26.6 in July and 27.4 in September. There is a small change. Apple is still huge growing very nicely, we will need to how the new iphone 4S and the upcoming Galaxy Nexus will change this.
